Concerto for Saxophone by Vinten

At the beginning of 2006 Michael Vinten wrote Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Wellington Youth Sinfonietta played it at the May concert, with Simon Brew (assistant conductor for WYS) as the soloist.

Later in 2006, Simon played the first two movements of Concerto for Alto Saxophone for a Concert FM recording with the NZSO (New Zealand Symphony Orchestra) on 6th November. He played fantastically. Well done Simon!
